New Announcements!

We are excited to announce that Rebecca Baker has joined the Oceanside team as a full time clinician! Following graduation from UNE in 2017, Becca spent a year working as a Day Treatment Clinician with Connections for Kids. She values creative and person centered approaches to therapy, and practices Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Interpersonal approaches.

As our team continues to grow and expand, we are able to open our doors to new clients. Oceanside is currently taking on new referrals for Outpatient Counseling and Medication Management as well as referrals for the Adaptive Behavior Assessment System (ABAS), which is one of two tools required in order for a client to receive Children’s Waiver services. Below is further details regarding how to best complete the process for each referral.

Outpatient Counseling: The referral form can be found on Oceanside’s website under the tab Making a Referral. Currently, we are only taking the following insurances: Maine Care, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna and Self-Pay. Please complete the form fully and either mail, fax or email it to Kerianne Kuliga, LCSW.

Medication Management: Currently, we are only taking on adult clients with the following insurances: Maine Care, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna and Self-Pay. These clients will be meeting with Kristin Mikkelsen who is our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. The referral form can be found on Oceanside’s website under the tab Making a Referral. Please complete the form fully and either mail, fax or email it to Heather Tozier, MA.

Adaptive Behavior Assessment System (ABAS):If you have an identified client in need of only an ABAS, please complete the referral form to the best of your ability and return it to the attention of Kerianne Kuliga, LCSW. This form can be found on Oceanside’s website under the tab Making a Referral. From there, the assessment will be scheduled with either you or the guardian of the child. The child and at least one guardian must be present for the assessment, which is typically completed within two hours. During this time, a clinician will gather historical information and the guardian will complete a questionnaire rating the child’s adaptive abilities. A completed report will be provided to the guardian and/or the case manager within two weeks.

If you have any questions regarding the process of referrals for Outpatient Counseling or Adaptive Behavior Assessment System (ABAS), please contact Kerianne Kuliga, LCSW via phone (571-9923 x303) or email (kerianne.kuliga@ocsmaine.org). For Medication Management referrals please contact Heather Tozier, MA via phone (571-9923 x300) or email (heather.tozier@ocsmaine.org). Thank you.
